Why You Should Procure Products From FSC Certified Companies ?

FSC (Forest Stwardship Council) is a non-profit international non-governmental organization established to guide businesses and consumers in the forest decision-making mechanism worldwide. The FSC’s field of activity is to set standards for forest management and proper use of forest products, not to independently audit and document, and to label related products.

FSC was established in Bonn, Germany, in 1993 as a reaction to worldwide forest destruction.

As Tantimber, since the first day of our establishment, we became a FSC certificated organisation since we provide our raw materials from sustainable forests and have been regularly inspected, and we proudly carry the FSC logo on our products.

One of the most important reasons for us to be preferred as a company that exports its products to all over the world is our responsible and respectful attitude towards our planet.

Largest Forest Certification System in the World: PEFC

PEFC was established in 1999 in the form of an international umbrella organization that provides recognition of independent assessment, turnover and national forest certification systems, in response to the special needs of small and family forest owners. The purpose of its establishment also responded to the needs as a mechanism for the independent progress of national standards according to the political, social, economic, environmental and cultural realities of the countries tasked with ensuring internationally accepted conditions and compliance with the global disclosure.

The forest certification approval program (PEFC) is a program that supports sustainable forest management through neutral third-party forest certification. PEFC is a system that guarantees that all processes such as the Coc-Forest protection and custody chain, processing, conversion, production from raw forest to the consumer come true.

As Tantimber, we have been working with PEFC certificate since the day we were established and we are managing our processes according to this transparent system.
