Fingerjoint

Tantimber’s fingerjoint process offers a versatile solution for creating long, one-piece products by connecting shorter pieces with glue. This process allows for the production of products with lengths of up to 7.20 meters ( 24’) ,  which can be valuable in various construction and woodworking applications such as pergolas, claddings, underconstructions, window scantlings, posts, non-load bearing wide span applications. Tantimber offers different thickness options and can provide products in special sizes by laminating solid parts or finger-jointed parts based on customer requirements. This flexibility allows for tailored solutions to suit the unique demands of various applications. The use of Melamine Urea Formaldehyde (MUF) glue during the gluing process ensures the durability of laminations and fingerjointing, making the products resistant to external weather conditions.
